FLYING WITH fastjet

Welcome onboard fastjet. We are committed to ensuring you have a delightful and comfortable flight experience. Here are some essential tips to make your journey as enjoyable as possible.

Seats

Our seats are designed for your comfort. You can easily adjust the backrest by pressing the button on the armrest to find your preferred position. Note that seats near emergency exit rows may have limited recline for safety reasons.

Reading light

Each seat is equipped with an individual reading light above the panel. You can use this light during take-off and landing when the cabin lights are dimmed.

Air vents

Stay cool throughout your flight with our adjustable air vents, allowing you to personalise your airflow

In-flight service

Our friendly cabin crew are here to assist you throughout the journey. If you need anything, do not hesitate to use the service call bell located in the panel above you or located in the seat armrest.

Lavatories

Kindly refrain from disposing of foreign objects in the toilet to ensure smooth operations.

Disinfection spray

As per World Health Organisation (WHO) regulations, a harmless disinsectant spray may be used in the cabin. If you have any concerns, covering your mouth and nose during the brief spraying process is advisable.

Consumption of alcohol

Onboard a fastjet aircraft, only alcohol served by a cabin crew member may be consumed. Passengers are not permitted to drink alcohol purchased duty-free or elsewhere, and any such items must remain unopened for the duration of the flight. Being under the influence of alcohol or narcotics, causing a disturbance to other passengers, or posing a threat—or potential threat—to the safety of the aircraft is strictly prohibited.

Safety information Card

Take a moment to review the safety pamphlet located in your seat pocket. It contains important information about emergency procedures, including the location of your nearest exit—which may be behind you.

No smoking

Smoking is strictly prohibited on all our flights. This includes the use of electronic cigarettes or any vaping devices, which are not permitted for use inflight. Failure to comply with this regulation may result in prosecution.

Seat belts

Throughout the cabin, seat belt signs are visible on the overhead panels. Please fasten your seat belt whenever these lights are illuminated. For your safety, we recommend keeping your seat belt fastened throughout the flight whenever possible.

Interference with crew duties

Interfering with the duties of the cabin crew is an offence. You are required to obey all safety instructions. Due to security measures, there will be no admissions into the flight deck.

Preparation for take-oFF and landing

Remain seated

Please remain seated after landing until the aircraft has come to a complete stop and the seatbelt signs have been turned off by the pilot.

Electronic devices

Before take-off and landing, please turn off your electronic devices. After take-off, you may use them in flight-safe mode once the seat belt signs have been turned off.

Cabin baggage

Store your cabin baggage securely under the seat in front of you or in the overhead lockers. Please exercise caution when opening the overhead lockers, as items may have shifted during the flight.

Personal electronic devices

PEDs must be switched off once the aircraft doors are closed. You may use them after take-off when the seat belt signs are off, but please ensure your mobile device is set to flight-safe mode. Any devices with wireless connectivity or Bluetooth must have these features disabled for the duration of the flight.
